I was born and raised in Rapid City, SD. I made the leap across the river in 2021 after obtaining my graduate degree, and I have really come to love the unique beauty and rural areas of east river. Prior to my move I worked as an RN for many years in several different specialties and enjoyed the diversity and being at the bedside helping patients. I am always wanting to learn more, so I decided to go on to get my advanced degree and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and I love what I do.
My philosophy is that we are all in this together, and life is a struggle at times, so I strive to be a positive presence and help those who are in need to the best of my ability. I also believe we all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity no matter what our current circumstances are or where we are from.
I have 4 grown boys, and I am still adjusting to the empty nest. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, reading, and volunteering in my church and community. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle, horseback riding, and being outdoors with my dog.
